I didn't read ALL of it....I skipped some parts of it!  I found it very difficult and dare I say? boring in some spots.  But there are other parts that are quite good......

Like the story of Bern and Luthein and Turin Turambar. Good reading!! Wink

I'll have to look it over again and let you know.  Or Patty Ann, the Sim expert, can tell you when she gets back from vacation.

The Children of Hurin, from what I've read so far, has been interesting and is explaining what was going on with their story in the Silmarillion. It's a lovely and sad story at the same time.

Not into Twighlight. I love Tamora Pierce though, especially her books regarding the characters and realm of Tortall. A lot of strong female power. I'm really liking the Beka Cooper trilogy. The second book was the most recently published.

Think kings, queens, knights, and strong female figures who rise up in a male-dominant world to fight for righteousness. It holds somewhat of an epicness of the main characters in the various books on Tortall who come triumph after a series of struggles. Me likey strong female characters who aren't over the toply written. They are easier to connect to thanks to the author, Ms. Pierce.
